Hillary Clinton made history yesterday as the only former first lady to enter a presidential race, which she announced by video on her website. In her announcement, she encouraged a "conversation about the future of our country."
Most everyone knew that it was coming, as she has been preparing for this for several years. During that time, Clinton "locked up"¹ many supporters, putting her ahead of the game before she even became a candidate.

Obama Steps to the Line
Yesterday, Senator Barack Obama announced that he was stepping up to the line of potential Presidential candidates by submitting the paperwork to establish the Obama Exploratory Committee, which will work toward his 2008 campaign candidacy.
The announcement came on the Barack Obama website in both video and text format. An interesting candidate with an even more interesting background, Obama vows to bring "a different kind of politics" to Washington if he is elected. This is exactly what many American's will be looking for in the 2008 Presidential Election.
